Virtual idea laboratory

Welcome to one of the most exciting future projects in the future workshop: the virtual idea laboratory®.

Anyone who would like to contribute an effort to dealing with the urgent and important issues of our future, thus helping to design and shape tomorrow's world, can contribute his or her ideas, visions and angles on the various issues and questions of the future in this unique virtual room.

Once you have registered, you can make your contribution in any of seven theme rooms in the forum' or any of seven under  ‘dialogue', and enter into a dialogue with other people and their ideas.

1. Forum

In the forum's seven theme rooms, you can enter your ideas on the preset questions and react to contributions which have already been made. The forum will be presented and run by the Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte (World Cultural Heritage Site at the Völklingen Ironworks).
Contributions will appear in the order in which they were made.

2. Ideas in dialogue

Here too, in a playful way, you can contribute your own ideas in seven theme rooms. You can also react to other contributions interactively and submit your feedback.
In a unique synthesis, the contribution of the ideas, the dialogue, the feedback and the presentation of the results are shown synchronously and continuously in real time over the entire interface. This application will be in use for the first time at the idea laboratory® of the Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte.
